Anyhoo, apart from that I agree, don't throw it all away OP, (I'm being a bit selfish I know) but we all love the server, lag/bugs or not. I heartily recommend some time off and a re-think. There is a great and loyal fan-base of CF and I for one (there are many) would hate to see it gone forever. I know it's your call mate, it's your baby and you don't want a bad server, but please at least sleep on it and ideally reconsider. But at least think it over.

Ok, I think that everyone knows who the pirate clans are, so, let's face it, we know who they are, no license needed.

Freelancers (and new clans unless their intentions have previously been stated) should at all times carry a license in order to give a little bit of warning until their name is known.

And CFPD should wear pink.

I hear you Tassie, but as I have said, I have done all that 5 times now, and I can access the game, but I get to play for 5 minutes then the server crashes, so I'll ask again, how do I know if it's me who is crashing the game?

I go in, fart about, fly to a couple of stations, am in for about 5 mins and the server crashes.

I go in again, in for about 6 mins, server crashes.

At this point, out of respect for other players I close the game down. My problem is, how do I know if it's me that's causing these crashes?

I won't start the game up again, until I can get some advice.

OK, gunny, I have now deleted anything that has an "f" in it on my hard drives. The only new thing I found was a file in my prefetch folder. All gone now. I am now about to do the freelancer install, then I am going to get clean dloads of both the modmanager and the mod itself. I can do no more. If this doesn't work, then it would appear that nothing will.

Ok, here's where I am with this. I can see nothing wrong with what I have done, I have un-installed, then re-installed as suggested by darkstalker. Not once. Not twice, but three times. Then all was good. I was playing for over 5 minutes tonight, I changed nothing, then the server crashed. I changed nothing, guess who gunny blames? You got it. me! Gunny, you are either wrong or seriously wrong. If you don't like me just say, but I did not screw the server. Yet you ban me again. I'm keen to hear your defence, and even keener to hear who you will drag in.

I am seriously pissed about this, I have waited for ages for OPs 1.6 and you can't help but ban me at every opportunity. If you had a reason I could maybe accept it, but it looks as though you ban me for no reason at every chance you get.

Some sort of answer would be good.

I have now done that 3 times, yet you assume it is me, ffs this is getting silly.

I've just gone through the rigmarole again. Last time, I have kept my firewall off, if this does not work, then heaven help me.

Just re-installed, scared to start again, cos maybe screw the server, how does 1 know?

Apparently I am crashing the server again, re-install now happening. Can't win ffs.

At the time of my banning, I was not in any clan, I had not set foot on 1.6 with any Clan player. Since the banning, following discussions with 1.57 clan members, it would appear that the clan will be resurrected, and that The-Gipper will be deleted come what may if I am ever un-banned, but it is impossible to do this whilst banned.

[GAY] is a clan on CF and you are required to wear tags on all chars. You were using an untagged or "fake" char.

Are you not assuming that I am in a clan? I certainly don't have any clan characters in 1.6, so why assume that I am a member of a clan? As previously mentioned in this thread, I was The-Gipper as there was some debate over whether or not to continue with the clan.

Therefore I am in violation of no rules. If this ever gets sorted, then I may well join a clan, at which time, any untagged chars will be deleted as per the rules which I have not broken.

Please un-ban me as this is the fair thing to do. I have done nothing wrong.
