Another idea: How much HD-space do you have free on the drive you want to install? Taking into mind, that during installation some files need to be unpacked/worked on, maybe it's just a simple space problem?

Solution was from SilverFox! -
Kermit - for the font issue, you may want to take a look here:
-
That's funny 'cause my installer crashed on me under Win7-64 and worked in compatibility for WinXP-SP3...
Another issue some ppl may come across is Crossfire2-fonts not installing correctly, resulting in not only ugly ingame-fonts, but *in a missing speed-indicator*,too...
Problem can be solved by manually adding the font to Windows as described here:
-
Did you already try to run installer in compatibility-mode? (Maybe try WinXP SP3)

I really had to smile when reading all comments about how this issue casts a negative light on the provider and that the employee should face consequences...
I think it's very possible, that the provider as well as the employee did their job perfectly well, as no provider will make a contract with you saying sth like "guaranteed re-up after failure within minutes". The shorter the guaranteed time (if there is any granted for the given contract, btw) for a re-up after failures, the more you will have to pay.Of course it isn't nice when a server isn't up when you want to use it, but never judge about companies w/o knowing the conditions they have to fulfill...
Cheerio

Thanks for this extended report and the pictures!
As the in-fight communication is sometimes a bit difficult in these systems as reaction-times are quite small, it may be an interesting idea to try TeamSpeak for these big missions(?) I never tried, but maybe it can help to get things sorted easier than typing. Even the players w/o headset could log in and at least listen to emergency-calls, waypoints, etc.
Was this ever tried? What do you think about it?Cheerio
