Well,i`l give you quick info on what i did.Installed Freelancer V1.0,No patches or cracks.Installed mod manager 1.31.Installed Crossfire 1.9.By default Crossfire installed itself to mod manager directory.that`s it.Activated Crossfire,made some options and magic happened,clicking on OLD icon (for some mysterious reason,icon didn`t changed to Crossfire icon untill next day`s powerup) shortcut launched crossfire.

I just installed Freelancer,mod manager and crossfire,and no,not by-the-book.I will try that and report my findings.In vanilla Freelancer i just farmed xenos in encounters,by patrol routes or in political enemy territory.They spawning there.Looks like this not working in crossfire,no enemies spawning by patrol routes or territories.

All programs installed "by-the-book",ran as administrator,this time crash happened not after several kills but after ~150.I`m running Swashbuckler freighter non existing in vanilla,maybe this ship has something to do with crash?Or,sometimes exploding enemies hits my ship.Shields are intact but ship is "knocked",turns in any direction suddenly and violently.Maybe these explosions has something to do with crash?

Hi,few days back,i installed Freelancer,installed Mod manager 1.31 and installed Crossfire.Launched singleplayer.Looked like everything ok.Now i`m getting constant crash.I am in colorado system near Xenos Auray base farming for rep and escape pods by blasting Xeno ships.Tactics is:i standing in front of one of two dock doors.When ship appears in dock and doors are opening,i`m blasting into dock destroying enemy in process.Good tactic for low level player like me but problem is,after few or several such kills,game crashes to desktop.No problems with enemies i encountering after trade lane disruption or whatever in space,be it encounter or mission.Can anyone tell me (and others) what is the problem?I think its the game,workaround is don`t do that but game must be stable,i don`t wanna think constantly of stuff which can provoke game crash.
