    Hello,

I just wondered if there's a way to delete my account here on the forums?
I actually don't really need it and probably will never need it again anymore.

Thanks for any infos/help in advance!

so, just tested it on Windows 7 32 Bit running Parallels 8 and it worked (after the same problems with 8.1 missing msvcp100.dll and msvcr100.dll, which WERE NOT INSTALLED DURING VCREDIST INSTALLATION (tried 2005 as well as 2008) - anyway, i copied them from my Windows 7 Desktop PC and it worked afterwards). I just have to add, that Parallels might not be the best option, as mouse input feels really sluggish within Crossfire (maybe games in general, i don't know).
Concerning the Windows XP not being able to run it thought: That may be false, it might just not be able to update the launcher (i installed it on Windows XP at first, and wasn't able to run/update it, but it worked on my Windows 7 machine afterwards (i posted something on the forums according this topic, as far as i remember); so i'll give Windows XP a try as well, with an updated launcher version)

To answer the question that's been in here for quite some time:

Freelancer Vanilla runs on virtual machines AND on Wineskin builds

And yes, i also managed to get 1.9 running on both (VM+Wineskin); I just forgot how i got this far using wine (it's been over a year since i did)

Anyway, the problem about 2.0 is .Net 4.5 which is not supported on Windows XP (which is base for wineskin); As a conclusion there might not be any chance to get 2.0 Single Player using wine (gotta mention 1.9 Multiplayer never worked on wineskin, as it doesn't seem to be able to use internet connections anyway)

When i tried installing 2.0 using Parallels 8 (i think its 8.. anyway my just created Windows 8.1 would just tell me, it's missing some required files (somehow, if i use the same Folder on my Windows 7 Desktop there's not a single problem running it). Anyway that problem doesn't seem to be related to Parallels or any vm-software as 2.0 won't work on my native 8.1 as well.I'll try running 2.0 on a Windows 7 VM soon (as soon as I'm motivated to create one :D )
tldr: Windows 8.1 seems to have problems running the same installation used for Windows 7 AND 2.0 wont ever work on Windows XP (i guess) BUT 1.9 ran flawlessly "on" Mac OS (using wineskin)

    Hi,

sorry for writing back this late.

Anyway, my G700s has a very nice feedback and of course yes, it is quite small in my hands though it is quite a big mouse.
To have it said: I also tried an "old" G700 at the store (just to test the size) and that one had your said non-feedback buttons... maybe it's because of your used one to be bad?
Another reason i found about the G602 may be the mouse wheel... the G700s has a really nice one with micro gear.. i think the G602 hasn't!
And yes, i had the G602 in my hands, as I said, it felt like made for my hand, but still the DPI stuff isn't anymore what i need (currently using only 2700DPI as this really is enough for most games and more than this are simply too much for proper gaming and surfing (seriously it is..))

To that mouse lag post (too lazy to look how quoting works) from [UR]GrandAndreasK... WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING??! I really NEVER had mouse lag when using either bluetooth mice or the wireless sensor of the G700s (had a Razer Orochi 2009 earlier).

    Hi,

I just bought a logitech G700s a week ago! I have quite big hands, and found that one quite comfortable!
If 2500 DPI are still enough for you, the G602 is also very nice! In fact I would have bought the 602 If it had slightly more DPI!

When I tried some at the store i was really close to buy this one, just because it was like... made for my hand :D

    Hello,

this is my first post here in the forum. (I just recognized theres autocorrect activated on my PC so... there may be mistakes i didn't want to make...)

well... thats not what i wanted to say... I Play on a MacBook Pro with Retina Display, which would be able to run the game in full res (2880x1800). But, unfortunately, there are no Fonts if i set it to this Resolution... so i cant see how fast im going, how many % thruster i have left, distances dont show and so on... I just wondered, why this is like that? Texts in bases are there, but no Information like these... Does anybody have an idea how to fix this Fonts issue on HiDPI Settings?

But this isn't the only Problem i got... When i activate advanced shaders (the normal one) it works, but the star's lights are way to bright, so that i cant read Information on the Screen anymore.. If i use a different shader (in FLMM when activating the mod) i always get light bugs in bases, so when i dock, everything is black and it seems like there was no light source in the room i actually am! Am I the only one with this Problem? Does anybody have a solution for this?

i'd like to thank everyone for answers and, of course the most important part: THIS MOD IS AWESOME!!

    best regards,
