    Cygna, its not the Money ... its the high level of dificulty and the time u need to bring just a handfull enemys down to surender...


    see, if u start palying SP, you want to start with the vanillastorry and here is the problem with the dificulty.
    so just a small change with ne nanobot-usage and you can breath again.
    But its not that easy you will think now, its hard enuff because the AI is still there ...


    All uve got with this change is a bit timesaveing - the challenge is still at a high level.. high enuff to keep playing but not so high to surrender and uninstall the mod again

  • Impossible in the beginning of the game

    SWAT_OP-R8R your right what youve sayd but some of us are Dad's of there family and have a very limited time to play Freelancer..


    m8, i think im right when i say that 80% of the FreelancerPlayer have grown up in the last 10 years the game have released.
    ...but the nice and spicy grade of dificulty collides with the familys of this Dad's - specially with the wifes! (i know what im saying ;) )


    so, here is a solution for this mess:
    im 34years old and i have a family but i also want to play your mod because its just _THE_ mod that have to be played... !
    But i _must_ change some little things to combine it with my little amount of time that i get here for playing ...
    (thanks good my wife cant read this - english is not her thing and she will never found this in the net because she only searching for shoes or clothings for her and our kids ;D ..hrhrhr)


    so, lange Rede kurzer Sinn...
    here is a small balance for all the Dad's out there who just sayd "shut up and take my money!" and want to play Crossfire 1.9 at a smoother dificulty to save some time:
    ONLY FOR SINGLEPLAYER!!: -> Link removed due to violation of the usage agreement


    it changes the usage of the nanobots by the NPC's (not all of them but the most)
    it doesnt change the usage of the shieldbatterys by the NPC's (to keep the challenge of Crossfire 1.9)
    it changes the cash you will get for pilots at the prisonstations to 1/4 (to get more "Trade"-feeling of the rest of the marketgoods - so trading is again an option to make money)


    this little changes will keep us "Dad's" plaing Crossfire 1.9 - and it will fit much better to our limited time we've got to play...


    ...i hope THIS isnt against the rules... but i think it isnt... ..its just for us poor Dad's :aberglaube:
