Did that and everything seems to be in order. I'm going to upgrade my HDD and memory next weekend as I'm running out of space, so I need to install it from scratch anyway. Hopefully that will sort it out.

Just something I have noticed since DR came out and wondering if someone else has noticed this too. When I play for more than an hour, the game starts to suffer from a memory leak that almost makes mostly ground maps jumpy and unplayable. This is not happening to much in space, but still noticeable.
First I thought it's my laptop, but this doesn't happen in other games, only with STO. Exiting the game and then launching it again seems to fix it temporarily until it happens again an hour or so later. -

The Assimilated Set has served me well so far on the Assault Cruiser.
I also use this set on my Vesta build at the moment, but I change it to the Dyson Rep set at some point.
I haven't got most of the Dyson set yet and that is the main reason I'm currently using the Assimilated set.
The more buffed shield and damage that ignores shields is to good to pass up, in fact the entirety of the Dyson rep seems to lean heavily towards science and shield pass through with a strong emphasis on boosting the players shielding and resists. -
