Had a go on Tribble to check out the new sector space. So far it's not bad. Suns and planets are larger, but I was hoping sector space would be bigger with the huge stars staying the same size rather than inflating when you approached and shrinking when you left, but it does look rather cool and make sense as otherwise sector travel would take even longer.
I was also hoping they would introduce some sort of sector transwarp network for players to get around easier, rather than use a ships limited transwarp and slipstream capability.
New systems have been added, including Orion homeworld, Betazed and Iconia, to mention a few.
Transwarp still works. For example Tau Dewa. If you use transwarp currently, it will take you to the border of Tau Dewa. In the new space, it will take you to the approx. center of Tau Dewa space. All others' like K7, DS9 or New Romulus will still take you directly there.There is a video on youtube where someone already tested the new sector space. Worth a look.

I was wondering the same thing. Since DR launched, there was one event after the other. Must be due to dwindling player numbers rather than a reporting error as they claim.
Anyway, the 50k dill are useful and will come in handy for R&D projects I suppose. -
For the next three weeks, from March 5th at 9:00 AM PST to March 26th at 10:00AM PST, Federation, Klingon, and Romulan Republic Captains between levels 50-60 can queue up for our 10-captain “Crystalline Cataclysm” event to defeat the Crystalline Entity and earn one Crystal Shard every 20 hours. After collecting 14 of them, players can complete a new Event Reputation project to be rewarded with 50,000 Dilithium Ore, 500 Fleet Marks, 250 Marks of their choice (Fleet, Omega, Romulan, Nukara, Dyson, Undine, or Delta Marks), and the new Crystalline Energy Torpedo Launcher!

I'm trying to log onto tribble today or tomorrow and test it for myself. I have a lot of transwarp destinations I can try and see where they take me. I report back here once I know how I feel about it.

Sector space walls are coming down and let you fly around the Alpha, Beta and Delta Quadrants uninhibited. For once, this is actually looking pretty good.
Sector Space has been divided into three maps now, with one map per quadrant (Alpha, Beta and Delta). This means that no matter where you are in a quadrant, you can click on another system in that quadrant on the overhead map and proceed there uninterrupted. -
It's one per day. I run all 4 missions and only got one BNP.

Some may have noticed that the Modus Ooperandi mission in the Defera Invasion Zone doesn't actually reward any BNP. That's because there seems to be an error in the recent patch notes.

Free is almost always good
I use the set on my "free Samsar Cruiser", and it works very well so far. Over the next few weeks I try to upgrade to level XIV. -
