Hello Jo-Ann!

Sorry if it took so long before sending you this transmission, but I had some issues with section 1.9, it wouldn't relay the first one. That is why I used the encrypted way.

I am sending you 50000 credits, that should cover all the daily expenses, mortgage and the parts that were needed to fix the ship.

Some bad news, the ship was heavily damaged, I was ambushed by a wing of outcast fighters has I was entering the Texas jump gate. One thruster, two turrets and some ship hull panels were replaced. How did I pay for all this you might ask?

Now for the good news. You won’t believe it, while the repairs were being done, I was in a bar on Planet Manhattan talking to that guy * what was is name again? Oh yea! * Razors One, I know, don’t ask; that’s the name he gave me. Well, he offered to pay for the repairs and then offered me a lump of cash. At first I refused, but he made the transfer directly into my account, not sure how he did that but for now, I owe him.

I have been exploring more then trading, I need to find witch commodities will bring the most, that will be my main objective for the next week.

So far, from what I have seen, graphics are great, love the music (especially the one inside the prison, nice touch).

Log entry 1

Found the problem that cause the main engine from starting. I replaced the computer that calculated the amount of H-fuel that was needed it to make it run. Ckecked all systems, weapons are online (guns and missiles), amunitions was brought in, scanners are working within parameters, shield battery and Nanobots are at max.

Now, I have only 10000 liters of H-Fuel left in the tanks, some trading is required. We need credits and a lot.

Me, employed freelancer: " Well Jo-Ann (wife), it is time for me to depart. I will see you in two weeks if everything goes to plan, take good care of yourself"

Wife: "You be careful out there!"

Me, employed freelancer: "You know me, I always do"

*Gets inside the ship, wave to his wife and closed the door*

*With a loud noise, the ship start moving up and soon disappear into the clouds*

*After working for hours, I finally got the primary engines working but I am having major issues with the main engine. It just wont start*

Sorry if I am starting a new thread on this but I have checked all the others and I have seen nothing reporting to this.

I have done everything that was explained to do:

Clean install of everything and rebooting the computer everytime.
using FLMM 1.31 ect.

I agreed to the EULA.

I get the intro, after the intro, the window close and I get "Freelancer has encountered a problem....

I look at the error and get the samething i was getting from my previous download of 1.9 (seems my first download was good) *Banging my head on the wall*

Here is the error report I get:

I am currently on a Virtual machine, don't know if it is important, others use the computer to play other freelancer Mod. Not on the virtual machine though.

@SOME of you, and in generally speaking when it comes about culture of dialog in RL and forum discussion (explanation for Abras: generally speaking is not to speak in the name of all) True, If you say "I", they will say stop talking about yourself (no win situation here)

Do I win something? Crossfire 1.9?

Rare are the bases I didn't find the fast docking point and that is because I didn't take the time to find it. There are not always placed where you would think, look around and don't forget that the nose of your ship needs to touch the base to work better.

I have to agree with you, took me forever to finally be able to install and play 1.82.

What I did after many attempts

Removed everything and rebooted the computer.

then, installed Freelancer, reboot the computer.

Installed FMM 1.31, reboot the computer.

opened 1.82, reboot the computer.

Using FMM, activate Crossfire 1.82, reboot the computer.

I have Window XP and I finally manage to get it to work. The funny thing is that I can't play the game in multiplayer mode since it as changed to 1.9 and my download of it wasn't good and it's not working. I have to wait for the download to reappear to try again.

You have to be patient and you will get there, not sure if I would lose my time installing 1.82 since 1.9 will out soon. You can't play 1.82 multiplayer anymore.

(BTW, sorry for my bad english, it's not my first language (french) )
