    Wrong michael, first thing many bs can only be purchased on bases in asteroid fields and second most jumpholes are found in those fields...my best tactic there is to only navigate through the fields without cruise engines engaged.

    If i get you right vishnu, than your point is invalid thus you are saying there is only this ship for the task, but then why are there so many different types of bs? i really like the design of the manticore and if i remember it right you HAVE to navigate through asteroid fields to even get the ship from chugoku. so actually this discussion is invalid thus you are forced into asteroids.

    but OP, first the cystall fields behave really weird making it more frustrating to navigate through and second when you want to do something beyond tradelane routes you are screwd but i also see that moveable asteroids are a big thing merely possible to mod...

    i'm curious, when i see the BS in the debrisfield i'm thinking of the eternal struggle against objects in space like asteroids: will it be possible to make asteroids "moveable" i mean to push away the asteroids or debris with a big ship (=>BS) so that it is actually possible to get through a asteroid field with more than 80m/s (=>cruise speed). I mean i have flown a Manticore BS and i've always nearly rage-quittet CF because the ship always gets stuck, also in the smallest asteroids (smaler than a fighter) which is kinda crappy :/
    Though i have to admit that the graphical improvements are real eye-candy :bfantasydreams:

    Greetings my fellow Lancers,
    first things first:
    [SOC]Lonewolf is back. Yes, it was long time no see, but this was due that i found interest in other games and by the time i left, the server was already dead (<3ppl playing).
    So i started to do other things, but now i've got my interest back in CF and decided to give it a shot and hunt down some pirates and bountys :)
    Yet i can't play as much as i wish to do so, because im studying engineering btw, so my free-time is merely reduced to a few hours, but i cant wait to kick some ol' arses soon ;)


    So, if you see me online pm me if you want, need some help i guess to get my stuff back -> need to start from 0.

    as i said, you see cars as tools for getting you from a to b... yes indeed, such toys are expensive and consume a lot of time, but the fun with it is totally worth it.
    p.s. i hate summer, too - winter is even more fun to drive :)

    Huor, you think german, practically: for you, a car is a tool. for people like me, it's a toy and therefor we love to drive fast or in german words: "fährste quer, siehste mehr" :) or you are just then a good driver when the flies stick on your sidewindows :D
    it's the adrenalin-push that makes it so special, we give a shit on advantage or whatever, only the fun counts nothing more

    imo people who think that others who drive fast are idiotic have fear to drive on the road and/or cant drive a car properly (>90% of population).... get off ma damn streets, sunday drivers!
