Thnx Orion. I had a real hard look at all the hardware and options before I built my system. I am not at all a fanboy that my system is all AMD it is just I go for price vs performance and AMD is the best in this department. Bulldozer should be out by the end of this month or so says AMD, so I am really interested to see the performance and pricing on the chips.

At the moment if you want max performance you go for Intel, but if you are budget orientated and want to go for price vs performance you go for AMD. The phenom II x 4 chips are a great buy, but I would suggest going for the 955 and just OC it a little.

Just look at the specs of the upcoming Radeon card due for release in Q1 2012. The 7970 really looks like it will be great with a 1GHz processor and 8000 MHz ram speed and a bandwidth transfer rate of 256 GB/s. Look at the huge drop in power consumption. It is really looking good.
