Just finished reinstalling step by step EXACTLY as recommended.
Thing is, I clikc on the freelancer icon on my desktop as usual, and the FLModLauncher starts...and "downloading patch rules" EVERYTIME I try to play.
Already found here that its normal, that launching the mod launcher isnt necessary....but I just cant do it another way
Wheres the "fl.exe" file? just want to launch CF right away and skip mod launcher, already even tried searching the file on my HD...but nothing....whats wrong?
Really annoying having to wait to download everytime I want to play

"long" ago, cant remember where, but i found this Crossfire mod, and WOW, almost instantly resinstalled Freelancer with all expectacions possible
and what happened? Im on a 1280x720 monitor...im not good with Google, so spend a loot of time searching for widescreen solution to play....declined many times, so one day, finally made it widescreen properly, so, ok, i said, lets finally enjoy this mega mod!
First impression was like "instant happiness" lol.....found it hard..REALLY hard...but was ok for me.......UNTIL that mission where you must stop the artifacts smuggler? not killing him, just aiming for trusters? (one of the first missions)...
.....i really believe FRUSTRATION isnt enough to describe this....tried infinite times... tried activating super beam, and super speed mods....couldnt activate them...tried with all weapons and missiles available in manhattan(i cant go somewhere else, everytime i go out to space ,the mission activates)...searched in google, youtube.....nothing, do i really need to start a new game? it was insanely hard to me ( not to mention i just cant pause the game while in space...F1 not working in space)
the best i could do was just deplete like 1/3 of the shield...just to that bastard evade me like at the speed of light and regenerate all in a second, over and over and over again.....is it even possible to do it???
Tips are welcome, some strategy....something! i was about to uninstallCrossfire, this is the last chance i'll give it
