minor Purchasing temporary allies in SP

Okay, so im currently trying to farm nomads weapons in omicron gamma, and the 8 nomads ships near the "lower unknown" jump hole are nailing me and it occurred to me that it would be nice to have an option to purchase escorts on neutral bases(from -30 relationship and up) to acompany me till they either die or i dock somewhere(be it a base, jump gate, jump hole, etc. Basically if a loading screen is involved they dissapear). Much like im paid 20k to go kill people alone, i can pay 15k each to acompany me, so for example i could pay 4 escorts for 60k to help me with the nomads. This suggestion is for single player. I know most veterans would probably find this ridiculous, but it would fit the game, make it a little more friendly to noobies, and certainly encourage exploration on distant systems(after al is not that exciting traveling a distance of 100k without trade lanes only to be killed on the way).
