Windows 8 Function Keys(solved)

    any one know how to get around win 8 F1 key issue loading windows 8 help menu when in freelancer...stops any chance of play since i cant set my own saves up.

    This Works for ANY HP laptop with advanced Bios options Running WINDOWS 8


    1.Enter the BIOS configuration page (F10 for HP)
    2.look for an "action keys mode" option (under System configuration for HP notebooks)
    3.Once you find it, disable it.
    4.Exit saving changes


    Now the F keys should work they way they are supposed to
    Default functions will require the use of the Fn + F key. (as its supposed to be)


    I do not know if it will work for NON HP Laptops
