The developer site of one of the most popular and free forum software phpBB.com got hacked. The hacker even has to make public his attempts - can be read here: http://hackedphpbb.blogspot.com/2009/01/place-holder.html
I recommend everyone who runs this kind of forum software to consider to backup everything and eventually change the passwords. This guys announced to have upload the whole user and password list from phpBB on rapidshare. Arrrrr idiot
