Umm... that's a plasma riffle each of them holds, not a lighting gun. Though yeah, Stubbs has also a pair of Power Claws (which have the power field surrounding the blade - but they are usually powered down unless in combat), and plasma riffle uses electromagnets to shoot

That's right (even moreso: Imperial Plasma weaponry is unstable and can blow up when firing aka "Gets Hot!"), but Vance MOTHERF*CKING Stubbs can allow the luxiry of not knowing that
