Ok i did multiple fresh installs of FL and CF sometimes got crashes so i tried to solve like this:Install FL then install CF. After that, don't start CF right away, start FL and start the first mission. You don't have to complete the mission, it's enough for FL to create a Save game folder in the documents folder. Then start CF louncher normally it should not crash anymore.

Parallels is a toool to enable windows apps to run under MacOS enviroment something like a sandbox. Obviously can't run some games probably a driver issue. I did sometimes tried to install windows on Mac laptops there was issue with drivers every time i came to a point that i think it's impossible.

It seams to me like that you have problem with writing data to save game folder check out that save game folder is not read only or your AV is cousing troubles.Or its just parallels issue. Just to be clear save game foder in documents contains the game configuration alsoScreenshot_5.pngAnd Crossfire uses that folder also
