Does an end-to-end tutorial and beginner's guide exist somewhere, and if so--where?I've been away from FL for nearly ten years but retired and now have time to bring it up on kubuntu and play. But now I need full and complete guidance--what fiels, where to get them, how to install, use the launcher or proton, which mods are fun, etc. Where to do I start looking for answers?

Awesome! How does the Lutris version compare to the proton steam version you posted here? Running Crossfire Freelancer on Linux with Steam Proton (Also works with Steam Deck) Proton looks to be a lot easier, but if Lutris works better, I'll suck it up.
