One of the biggest issues i have with Freelancer is that the spacetextures, even in mods, are absolutely horrid. They really feel like low rez textures that will never move, and thus do not give the impression of infinite space, but rather a wall with an ugly low rez texture. Thats said has anyone tried increasing/replacing texture resolutions for the space sky box thingamajigger?
