(Quote from SWAT_OP-R8R)I heard from another Freelancer modder that the light type L_SPOT used in many base .thn files is broken in the new DirectX version. This light type can be replaced with L_POINT, which should give better results. I'm not a modder myself so I don't have any experience regarding this matter, but I think it's worth trying out.
