  • anyone here played APB before?

    a long time ago, a company called real time worlds made a game, it was a good game! but alas, their financial backers withdrew their funding causing the company to collapse.
    that game was APB, a game of cops n robbers, where the free roaming unreal engine made things so fun! shooting noobs, being owned by pros....


    then like the Phoenix, it rose again! gamers first bought the rights to the game! and made it in their own image, same game different packaging


    it is a free to download and play third person shooter that i think most of you would love
    me and robbers are playing it, and scorpion downloaded it recently.
    why not give it a go! we play on the EN patriot server

    my computer was broken for ages, sorry about not being around, and OP, i lost all my ID's could you send and id's that have a 13th armored Horatio in them to me over PM so i can play without starting over =)

    but yea, very slowly, hopefully will have all 5 chapters written by 2.0 then will play through that and perhaps a squeal


    chapter 2 estimated to be done by june, am not doing much atm because of exams :( and coursework ( i HATE the latter)

    as my cayman was towed by his vessel from magnetic force repulsors powered by solar radiation collected at some point in the mans ship it could have been anywhere in the amalgamation of cannibalized craft that it was comprised of, harbingers of flight from ages past, i even thought i caught a glimpse of a legendary spitfire from one of the great wars in sol, but that was Milena ago, how could it be here?


    on the way to this *home* of his i glimpsed a most unusual sight, a coalition ship! not a new model either, it looked like a old model used in the war against the alliance.
    "take us closer to that ship" i ordered "please" i added, remembering the situation i was in
    "yes ma'am" was jested from the man
    as i got closer my suspicions were confirmed, an early model of the Cossack with a crack and a small hole in the cockpit of the ship
    "them there termites got him, poor sod"
    "say, whatever your name is, could you upload the ships log for me?" i asked of the oddly pleasant man
    "sure, may i ask why in particular this ship?"
    "i just want to find out how i got here, that too much to ask?"
    "nope, not at all. i was just curious that's all"
    "okay"
    "OK that's done, I'll show you the contents when we get back home"
    "by the way where is your home?"
    "mate, you're gunna be here a very long time, its you home too now"
    puzzled I inquired as to why, to which i got no answer, as the man had started humming to himself, so i left the conversation there


    as i was towed away from the orgy of spacecraft, we started to head toward a small, black planet
    "is this planet your home?"
    "it's not a planet, closer to a moon"
    "OK is that moon your home?"
    "thats, no moon, that's a space station!" yelled the man
    the man began laughing hysterically at that line, the line was clearly a reference to something, but i was buggered if i knew
    "appro'chin clanker plez geif me your cred'nshals" came on the comms
    "i found this poor bastard in the wrecks, the 'scarb tuun got 'im" replied the man
    "ahhhh 'nother nuube" the comm replied "kay bring im in"
    "roger paxy" replied the man who started to chuckle
    "the names coot by the way, and you?"
    "oh" the question came suddenly "Horatio, sub-commander of the 13th ar"
    "Horatio, that crap means nothing here, here there is no thirteenth whatever"

    i vote drunken master, he is a pleasure to play with and promotes the RP of the server very well, of the other BLK OPS members i have seen and spoke to, soul eater seems a bit too aggressive and longbow just joined (to my knowledge)
