Recentl downloaded and installed Crossfire and encountered the following problem:
When starting the SP-Campaign, aprox. 50% of dialog lines are missing, as well as several sound effects - not sure if the latter is intentional or not.
Example: Right at the start of the campaign, the introductionary scene where the armored transport with the Freeport 7 survivors lands on Manhatten, a medic asks Trent if there are any injured on the ship. The dialog is not played, instead there is only silence.
For sound effects: the classic "thump"-sound of Trade Lanes does not play.
I tried reinstalling the mod, concluded that my german Freelancer version might be the problem, uninstalled first the mod, then Freelancer, and reinstalled Freelancer with the english version and the mod again - still no luck.
As it stands, the campaign is unenjoyable for me.
