Ok I know someone put a lot of effort into putting the maps in the lexicon and I shouldn't complain about such a trivial thing. Namely, the text with the description on the map often does not show the exact location of what I am looking for, say jumpholes, bases, battleships, etc. For smaller things, could the author place a marker, say a dot in a visible color. Also, some maps need an update, some positions are out of place. I know that the one who installs the map must have researched every part of all the systems then hit F6 then take a screenshot and then process the photo and add text. I also think that the maps should be placed in a slightly better resolution, I think that we all have solid computers for a better display of the map. In this way, it would make it easier for new pilots to navigate through the game, and it would also make life easier for me, since I use maps a lot, but unfortunately my memory is not what it used to be. Finally, if you need any assistance, I can help as much as my free time allows, only if someone explains how, thanks in advance

Hi, I gladly will do a changes to lexicon entries, but I need someone to provide better images, or suggest some concrete changes. There it seems are also some entries with less detailed maps.
Example:
Jormdar (highly detailed with additional info)

Yeah i see the problem in most cases names hides exact position of items on the map. That is why i sugest something like markers with exact possition even if that covers the text. Ok i will try to run game in 4K and see the diference in quality. Need to start campaign and decline one of the missions that alows free exploration. Reason is obvious for example some of the enemy inner core systems cant be explored in multyplayer i cant survive long enough to explore
For start if i have the time ill explore 1 system and provide you image. Im not that good with image editing but i will try.

It seams there is a lot of work nvm the mp or sp way to do it but i figure it out just remove names add collor dot at the exact location and add text under or above dot simple, This way you dont need better quality of images. You can also set diferent collor of dots for diferent objects like red for jump holes etc...

Hi Jericho, in multiplayer it is possible to make neutral reputation with everyone except nomads, then surviving is no problem.
scroll down to Guides, and follow the ultimate reputation guide if you want to fix your rep on a used character (that has killed human npcs or done missions) or you want to be able to buy equipment everywhere (which requires better rep than just out of the red)
If you just want to get neutral on a brand new character (no kills / missions) you only need to bribe the Junkers (Rochester, New York) and the Zoners (Neutro, Custodian) and shoot 3 containers off a Navy depot at planet Granu (Custodian). total cost for bribes is about 1.8 million credits.
This will not be sufficient to buy equipment everywhere, but it will do for trading and exploring.

There are ways to fix your rep with the aliens in Inner Core. Look for storage depots near the Dom'Kavash bases and well... you know what to do... just make sure your last visited base is somewhere in Sirius, don't land anywhere in Inner Core, or you'll be locked in because they have ion cannons in Weth and Phanchdar. (and then the only way out is having another player kill you while you have no credits on you)
Alternatively, you can hunt Dom'Kavash ships in the Altair sector, it just takes forever.
When you're done, or if the Dom'Kavash kill you before you're done, you'll be locked out of Inner Core, and you'll need to fix their rep again by killing Ancient Drones. (make sure to explore Dervon while the Ancients are green from killing Dom'Kavash)

Guys i respect your experience but you slightly getting off of theme here. This post is being obout maps not reputation
But ty for insight. I can go explore all maps in SP cos i can just turn on godmode and ez explore all. Only thing that is going to be missed is clan bases cos they don't show in SP someone with more experience in MP can fill in blank spaces simple as that
. I would rly like to do that but my time is limited to few hours or less by day that is why i search for an easy solution Martind Forlon did a great job with curent maps and when i see what kind of job is that i respect him even more. Im not lazy tried to explore 1 system for start but my game keep crushing on me cos i tried to set resolution not native to my screen. Recently changed my GPU but forget to put it on the list like previous and i loose almost 2 hours of traveling thry the entire map just to end with game crush on me ill try to fix that and explore more simple system. Thank you all for trying to help me i rly respect that

Yep nothing gained if i do that on any resolution infact on biger resolutions image is smaller
I understand how you do it but i think there is no other way to do it. If there is only a way to pull the picture from game files all problems solved but there isn't, even if it is some way i don't know how

There are tools that can do that, showing maps of sectors providing the different spots of interest. But I will not post that in publicity. One aim of the game is exploring 😏😉
