    hello,my bug:when i dock in planet(or base),i can't buy in comodities trader and my scanner and tractor beam are disapears of my list of equipment!i re-installed cf but same problem with my all charts.can you help me? :sos:

    Please add all your chars names and ask for check account. There can be problem with account, OR something on your PC removed game files. Do not post on forums account ID, is not needed (and is private).


    Are you using some antivirus software? ... if yes, please add Freelancer folder into antivirus exceptions list.

    A clean reinstall.


    1. Remove FL, FLMM, CF with its every leftover (you can do that easily with Revo Uninstaller) , do not restart your PC until it gives you the option to and remove the leftovers.
    2. Restart your PC
    3. You can go now manually and remove every leftover throughout your C drive (if that's where you installed your game and mod) including in the registry(be careful there, but it may not be necessary to search through the registry).
    4. Do a cleanup with a cleaner software such as CCleaner/Auslogics BoostSpeed/Advanced SystemCare etc.


    After you have done all of that and remove every last remaining file of FL, you can begin your installation. If you have saves you can back them up first. While installing FL & CF, if you have an anti-virus/anti-malware you should disable it and after the installation, put your game directory into it's exceptions.


    If it's really do to installation, the leftovers probably corrupted your reinstalls earlier.

That fresh free CCleaner tool later did an incredible fast job: deleted on a basic system three dozen MBs in zero point naught. Light looked a little pale.
