Greetings to all from an oldtimer/newbie.
I'm an almost exclusively SP gamer, but since I've recently semi-retired from my RL job, I might be persuaded to try MP with Crossfire.
I'm from the US West Coast, but have been living in Japan for decades, so the time zone difference makes MP difficult (my reflexes aren't exactly what they used to be, either, although they're still good enough to ride a motorcycle through Tokyo traffic, so maybe that's OK).
I played through all of the Wing Commander games when they first came out, and finally--in a manner of speaking--Freelancer, with what were then state-of-the-art PCs but are now antiques (or doorstops, depending on your PoV).
I go back to Freelancer once in a while for a change of pace from, from example, (heavily modded) Skyrim.
I just installed Crossfire 1.9 and am beginning to play through the SP campaign, with high hopes for the mod based on the comments/reviews I've seen.
I'm looking forward to interacting with everyone on the SWAT boards, especially but not limited to Freelancer/Crossfire fans.
Greetings, everyone
