I think that is somewhat funny... a youtube conversation I did regret even before writing the first comment.
Topic was that blackholes do not exist because gravity does not exist because of the "electric universe".
I bet that this conversation is going to get much more ridiculous soon...

Don't discuss with idiots. They only drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience there
They are everywhere!!
and you can't convince them!!

That guy was trying to make a somewhat correct statement, but provided irrelevant arguments.
In a non-inertial reference frame, gravity and acceleration (relative to inertial frames) are equivalent to each other. If space and time are non-uniform - distorted by presense of mass, as suggested by the relativity theory, - then any motion with constant speed is in fact accelerated, and any reference frame is non-inertial. But in most cases, like the examples you've given, it is convenient to use inertial reference and classical mechanics where all objects create gravity fields instead of space-time distortion.Anyway, there is nothing to argue about. The physical nature of mass / gravity is still unknown to science, and any model is equally correct as long as it works

Well, yeah... I didnt question the precense of acceleration... but instead the absence of force. To me that appears to be a requirement of a causal universe.
The original vid I commented was denying the existence of gravity as galaxy shaping force while at the same time claiming that blackholes do not exist but instead are just something like an electro-magnetic plasma torus. While I agree that a torus might even exist (for a spinning black hole) I still require the existence of a fundamental force (gravity) to explain that. Everything else would open the realm of magic.
