A beloved character from Mass Effect 2 is the titular trilogy may very well have been if this cosplay is any indication. As seen below, one special effects artist created the beloved and snarky Krogan tank, Grunt, with lifelike realism.
Cosplay is an outlet for fans to show their creative passion and skill, and it looks like Elisabeth Erring has no shortage of either! With a Bachelor’s degree in mask and hair design, Erring is currently enduring special effects makeup school to up her game. Combining her love for Mass Effect and creation in one, Erring created Grunt in all his glory and publishing the progress on social media for all to witness.

The first two Instagram posts show the finished product, but the last lends a peek into the development of Grunt. Erring shares her progress since the project’s inception from the gigantic rows of teeth, while other posts feature the molding for Grunt’s scaley exterior and muscles. Not only is this Mass Effect 2 cosplay incredible, it’s a fantastic exhibit of the creator’s craftsmanship and progress. As a matter of fact, it went on to win first-place at a competition. Way to go, Erring!
