Display MoreWith all of the news that has been surrounding Anthem, some fans of other BioWare franchises might feel a little left out. Sure, the studio is focusing on their brand new IP, but that doesn’t mean they’ve forgotten about the likes of Mass Effect or Dragon Age.
That said, BioBoss Casey Hudson recently posted an entry to the company’s blog to give everyone an update on how things are going. One particular aspect of the post has to do with Mass Effect and the teasing of something big that might be on the way. Hudson talks about the recent N7 Day and says that it is one of his “favorite times of the year” because it’s “a day when people around the world share their experiences with Mass Effect.”
“It’s so inspiring to know that there are so many fans of the series out there that are enjoying the games we’ve made, and hoping that we’ll make more,” he continued. Hudson then goes on to mention how one of their additions to the franchise has already been announced with the 4k enhancement for Andromeda on Xbox One. However, he teased that this is “just a small part of the plans we’re making for Mass Effect going forward.”
What exactly could BioWare be up to with the Mass Effect franchise? Are they developing another game? What’s the bigger part of their plans? We’re not hyperventilating, you are. Whatever is on the way is sure to see the light of day soon, right? Maybe it’s one of the announcements set for The Game Awards next week. Either way, we need more information, and we need it now.
