A living planet. While some may cite technicalities and term this a misnomer, the complex and interconnected lifeforms that call the planet Pahvo their home are the closest known match to such a phenomenon found in the vast expanses of our chartered galaxy. Despite the planet’s vibrant biomes and complex native life, it is largely defenseless against the invading forces that have attempted to claim and corrupt it for their own use. It’s up to you to come to the planet’s aid. The Defense of Pahvo Event will include multiple TFOs, previously featured individually, in a combined Featured Event that will allow players to choose their favored way of defending Pahvo each day, while earning Daily Progress toward a new grand prize reward. Defend the system space above the planet by maintaining and operating a series of defensive satellites, or take to the vibrant wilds of the planet’s surface to

For the past month, we’ve been inviting non-ship artists from the Star Trek Online team on to our weekly stream, Ten Forward Weekly, to try their hand at designing a Risian Science Ship. Mentored by a ship artist, each one created their own interpretation of what that ship might look like, with widely different results. Then, our concept artist, Hector Ortiz, turned each of those designs into a beautiful sketch. You can see all of this on our Youtube channel right now – it’s a fascinating look at the ship design process. Click here to watch the videos! But now that all four ships are designed, the power is in your hands. Below, you can vote for which of the four ships is your favorite. The winner, as chosen by our community, will be this year’s free ship in the Risian Lohlunat Festival! Look at all the images, then vote in the survey below - voting will be open until 4/30/20. Attention Captains, the Elachi are pouring into the Alpha Quadrant from previously undiscovered Iconian space gates in order to abduct helpless people! The Elachi have been doing with their captives, we need every Captain at the ready to help stop their forces. For a limited time only, the Elachi Alert queued event will return to Star Trek Online. From Thursday, April 23rd at 8AM PT til Monday, April 27th at 10AM PT, close these doors to subspace and receive bonus mark rewards. A joint fleet has gathered here to stop them. The fleet consists of science ships that have disabled their weaponry in order to divert all available resources to disabling the gate. We’ll need to protect them from the Elachi until they finish their work. Remember that the science vessels efficiency will drop as they lose crew members to the Elachi. Defend the joint fleet from the Elachi in order to ensure their success.

Star Trek, more than any other science fiction show, has always been about aspiration, seeking a universe where humanity has reached its true potential, far away from the things that divided us in the past. Right now, the world is facing a terrible crisis, and we’re very glad that some of you have chosen to spend your time away from friends or family with us, escaping into our version of the Final Frontier. But that doesn’t mean we want to forget the world we live in, either. Right now, millions of people are suiting up every day to defend us from the crisis we’re all facing, and those in the medical field are putting themselves directly in the crosshairs to save lives. They may be wearing masks and hospital scrubs, but they deserve to wear a Starfleet Uniform. It’s a small gesture, but we at Star Trek Online want to show our appreciation to these people who are putting their live on the
