"We stand together!"

C&C Generals. A small group of Red Guards.
The Red Guard is the basic infantry of China, armed with (what looks like) Type 56 carbines. Their real strength is their numbers. They are trained in pairs and Chinese APC the Troop Crawler comes with 8 Red Guards inside. In addition, they gain damage buff when in groups of >5, and they share this Horde Bonus with Tank Hunters and Battlemaster Tanks. They can be trained as Veterans with a specific General Promotion and the Horde Bonus is subject to Nationalism upgrade.
Chinese Infantry General has an upgraded version in form of Minigunners. Minigunners are armed with a handheld gatling cannon (higher rate of fire and can attack air), but lose 2-for-1 deal. In addition Infantry General's GP gets them trained as Elite and Horde Bonus is improved (and can be upgraded even further with Patriotism).

  • lol :D .. red invasion!

    • This is no invasion, this mission (Chinese 01) takes place in Beijing, and begins with GLA committing a terrorist act in Forbidden City (any wonder the game is banned in China?), so these Red Guards are on their own lands.

  • IG heavy breathing

    • You're not that far off, C&C Generals' China is quite a bit like IG: high quality tanks, high quantity infantry and good artillery. Except that China also specializes in nukes and have enough flame-based weapons to put Adepta Sororitas to shame (Dragon Tanks, Inferno Cannons, MiGs, Napalm Bombs on Helix)
