003_Physics_Changer.xml basically just re-works every "stock" ship's physics.  Because of the way it was written, it will NOT work on custom ships added to the mod- you should make them balanced using the formulas contained in Ship_Stat_Changes.xml and keep the linear_drag entry from my example ship intact, if you want new ships to be balanced with the current ships!

Why did I put this into the mod?  Simply put- I find FL's "stock" physics were too unrealistic.  The linear_drag entries for ships made the acceleration curves and real turning behaviors of FL ships entirely too cartoony for me.  So I rewrote all of the things that needed to be changed.  FL ships now use a balanced curve for their Mass and spinning speeds, and the linear_drag entry changes mean that ships with a lot of Mass will accelerate very slowly compared to their less-massive cousins.  This change is very noticable, when you put a Titan next to a Starflier- a Starflier will literally run circles around a Titan.  While these dynamics were present in DA's game design, I have deliberately amplified them so that future modders can get a better idea of what is possible and practical using this game engine.
