\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\README////////////////////////

Requires and assumes 1.1 patch.
Tested to work with FLMM v1.3
All options and features have been tested with the above specifications.

////////////////////
//TROUBLESHOOTING://
////////////////////
-If the cruise speed or tradelane speed does not change, try activating this mod AFTER all other mods!
  +Any [Engine] sections added AFTER this mod is activated WILL DEFAULT TO CONSTANTS.INI CRUISE SPEED. That means they will be whatever is chosen in the third option upon activation!
  +This mod does NOT alter Freelancer.exe, so the display may read 300 regardless of actual cruise speed.
  +See below for instructions to manually change or add cruise speed functionality.

-If the game crashes on startup, you may not be running v1.1. The DLLs require 1.1! Don't forget to try deleting the autosave(My Documents\My Games)!

-If this mod will not activate, another mod may have removed or replaced the required files/sections! (see MOD COMPATIBILITY INFO for specific information.)

-If you are having issues with the highest tradelane setting, remember, the game was NOT designed for you to move that fast! You can try turning the graphics settings down. Tradelane speed can be manually adjusted by locating the Trade_lane_ring section in solar/solararch.ini.

-Non-story NPCs and story NPCs not in formation with the character MAY NOT use the increased tradelane speed. This includes patrols and transports.

-Formation members with drastically different cruise speeds may have difficulties holding formation, but so long as the cruise speeds are within 50 of each other, it should be fine.

-If another mod interferes with a part of this one, you can select 'Disable this option.' when you activate the mod. This will not add anything to engine_equip or solararch for its respective option.
  +Note that this still adds the dlls, so if you disable both options, you can still add the data yourself, such as only specifying a unique cruise speed for one engine.

///////////////////////////
//MOD COMPATIBILITY INFO://
///////////////////////////
This mod sectionappends lines to the below sections, so unless another mod removes these sections or files, it will activate fine. If using any mods which replace these files, activate them FIRST.
Also, if you use any mods which use different versions of the LaneSpeed and MultiCruise DLLs, there might be some issues. The original readmes for those are included in the mod directory.

This mod will not activate without the following sections, and their associated files:
-DATA\constants.ini
  [EngineEquipConsts] (can be disabled via option #3)
  [PhySysConsts]

-DATA\SOLAR\solararch.ini (can be disabled via option #2)
  [Solar]
  nickname = Trade_lane_ring

-DATA\EQUIPMENT\engine_equip.ini	(can be disabled via option #1)
  [Engine]
   **Requires only one of these, but will append a line to every one present upon activation.**

-EXE\dacom.ini
-EXE\dacomsrv.ini
  [Libraries]

/////////////////////////////////////////////////
//INSTRUCTIONS TO MANUALLY CHANGE CRUISE SPEED://
/////////////////////////////////////////////////
Locate the desired [Engine] you wish to modify in Freelancer\DATA\EQUIPMENT\engine_equip.ini.
-If your [Engine] section of choice does not have a cruise_speed attribute, you can add it at the end of the section. But note that without the MultiCruise.dll, this line will be ignored.
-If you wish to change all existing cruise_speed attributes, use Find & Replace, and replace the existing 'cruise_speed = <#>' with the desired value.
