Ember Prime

General Information

I consider Ember a very powerful and tanky Warframe which is good for all kinds of mission.

However, Ember requires a bit of coordination when being played. You have to consider a few limitations related to her abilities and have to adjust your gameplay accordingly.

If done right she can be the top damage dealer of the team. If done wrong drains all your energy within seconds and leaves you with no protection.

She can melt large groups of enemies and kill most boss enemies with ease if used in the right way.

Abilities (sort by usability)

Passive

Ember gains 5% additional Ability Strength for every enemy having an active heat status effect in 50m range.

Ability 1 - Fireball

Charge and release a fiery projectile that ignites enemies on contact.

Ability 3 - Fire Blast

Slam the ground to create a wave of incinerating plasma that knocks back enemies and strips their armor.

Ability 2 - Immolation

Protect Ember with flame armor that burns stronger over time, consuming energy once its meter is at full strength. Cast again to extinguish the flame.

Ability 4 - Inferno

Command a flaming comet to crash down in front of ember, engulfing enemies with a fire that can spread through their ranks.

Energy per target: 10

Ability 2 (Immolation) causes Ember to heat up and with growing heat a damage reduction is applied which at max heat hits 85%.

While this heat builds up this ability won't consume energy but once the heat meter is full it will drain energy and this drain increases over time. It is based to deactivate this Ability again before you run out of energy.

Ability 3 (Fire Blast) can lower the heat of Immolation and would allow you to use Ability 2 longer.

Ability 3 also knocks down enemies, reduces enemy armor, deals heat damage and applies heat status proc (guaranteed).

Ability 4 (Inferno) casts a Comet to crash on your enemies causing large amounts of damage, applies heat procs. The energy needed depends on how many enemies are in range. This however is capped at 10 enemies. You can hit more than 10 enemies but only 10 will be used to calculate the energy drain. Important to mention is that you will only hit enemies that are in the direction you are looking to.

Since you are going to spam your abilities you want to have a high Ability Efficiency and Efficiency Strength.

Ability Range is nice to have.

Ability Duration is no requirement.

Builds

With 5 Forma Ember Prime is not a cheap Warframe.

Survival Build

The Survival build has a bit less range, but more health, more ability Strength and the Adaption mod which offers some good damage resistance (up to 90%).

Range Build

The range build is a good choice for point defense missions where you can stand in a sport and spam your abilities on the approaching enemies. They often die before they can open fire.

Only dead fish swim with the stream.
Don't discuss with idiots. They only drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience there.
