Ajay’s Blog

A collection of stories following the (mis)adventures of a Coalition scout pilot.

Yesterday I moved to Vega to farm some o-casts again. Then I moved to X-3043, then decided to check my skills with |LC|Soul. I got him two times with Nemesis, and he took me down 5-6 or more times. If I will say that Basilisk is not the best ship for PvP, I will shrink the reality - Basilisk is not for PvP at all. But PvP is not my primary requirement, right? And Basilisk was holding itself even with a handful of HP (Just like a IRL attack plane Su-25 "Frogfoot", able to fly with one engine and huge amount of holes).
Then I headed to Kusari, but made a travel to Earth to take a photo of Lake Baikal (Deepest lake of IRL world... And I was born near it).
So, yesterday I landed on Leeds. Really, nothing interesting happened.
Today I decided to take one more travel to Omicron Alpha, to farm some Outcasts. Unlike the SP I didn't gone rambo with killing@stealing, I took a sneaky way southern Omicron Alpha. Firstly I came closer to Hispania wreck (still remember, how I was exploring vanilla

I arrived on the server being on Kagoshima with full cargo bay of pods, and decided to join Bucket and Achenaton in Ancient farming, so I flew that way: Kyushu->Shikoku(sold pods there)->NT->Honshu->Sigma-19->Sigma-17->Omicron Theta->Omega->41->Utopia->Dervon. That was good that I was even able to take down one of their drones. That was really cool training and it was really competitive. Bucket got an idea to catch missions in Dervon, he could make them solo, so we were needed just to dodge and stay alive, and this way obtaining bots/bats. I even was launching my Nemesises to drones when they had no shield. After second mission we were caught by Ion Storm and had to leave for a while. After storm I left Dervon (due to Achenaton left and Bucket had RL) and headed back to Shikoku, then decided to flak up some o-casts in Alpha.
I made it for all way from Shikoku to Alpha and headed to Alaska through X. Omicron Alpha was way more peaceful than I initially thought, maybe because I fas

I headed to Sigma-19, to fix my reputation with GMG by missions on Gawaii. After one mission I catched a rephacker, so I did all.
So I moved to Fuchu to sell pods. I was talking to another Russian player (Hy6), so I felt great. He left Altair and moved to Lower Unknown, seems he landed there and left. I moved to Honshou in case I could help him. Since it was already late, I left too.
Today, I joined server too late (I was in downtown today). R@F1 needed pod transfer again. I helped him in New York (in Jeresy Field) and moved this way: Texas->Hudson->Hamburg->Frankfurt->Sigma-13->Chugoku->Honshou->NT->Shikoku->Kyushu->Tau29->Tau-37. There I met that Russian player again. He was seeking for Nemesis or Cataclysm launcher in Altair, but did not found anything. I gifted him one Cataclysm launcher (Rifty gave me Cataclysm and Nemesis in X-ray+6, I use Nemesis and Cata was just lying in cargo bay), and he transfered me 6 Lieutenant pods.
Seems like now I have found a way. I will try to help

Well... Nothing interesting happened this day.
First, I headed to Hokkaido for farming, then - moved to Fuchu, made some missions there and flown to Tau-37. I still get money in big numbers, but I got nowhere to waste it.
After Tau-37, I flown to X-3043 to Vega, but I denied it and headed to FP7->Quantos->Frankfurt. Hostileness with GMG lefts a heavy mark.
So, I dont even know, what shall I do.
Farm Ancients in Dervon, then join Bucket in his alien hunting?
    Join ASF/CSF fight?
    Move to Altair forever?

And, moreover, what shall I write in blog, since article size is shrinking with every day?
Write more fanfiction about my char's story?
    Write my more detailed travels?
    More philosophical details?
Or just write an article every week instead of every day?

Share your opinion in comments. And, while in space, don't be shy about asking my assistance. Since I got actually nothing to do, I will help with everything I can.
See you in space, pilots. Have luck and fun.

Since I own one of the best equip in teh galaxy, I now need only one thing. More skill.
So I headed to Vega, to farm some outcasts. Strangely, but missions offered by stations are also including Corsairs. I accepted some of the missions, and here is what I noticed:
Corsairs on Enfilades (or on Shrouds, or on Silverfishes, I dont remember, how they are called) (Checked Lexicon, they are Enfilades) are comparable easy. But their better pilots on Titans pop my shield a bit slower than wind pop soap bubbles (thx to Tisona Del Cids). But I managed to survive this. Basilisk is really tough, and thx to side buttons on my mouse binded to bots and bats, i dont need to find G or F keys.
After I leaved FL and joined later... I found myself in open space near the planet, surrounded by Outcasts. That was really close! I somehow landed, bribed to get a mission and made

Well, i continued to flak up GC and Dragons, but after decided to get a better shield. Actually, first I bribed Outcasts on FP6 (what caused rephacking GC and Dragons), then I rephacked Dragons on Chugoku.

So, what's the matter of Hiruga system? The Hiruga System is actually a maze of intersystem jumpholes. Jump holes are only one-way, if you will use the jumphole you arrived, it will warp you in another place. I took pen, paper and patience and started to bruteforce these jumpholes.

    SPOILER ALERT!

The lowest right jumphole in the most low (7D sector) cluster is a trap, it warps directly to the minefield. And jumphole that has driven you to Nagara, will warp you to itself. Thanks to Bucket (who told me about Icarus Trick in the middle of maze) i finally got this shield. Now I must go to Bruschal base and get another two things in my list:

    Sunslayer Torpedo Launcher and

    Shield Upgrade 10.

But for now I am severed from my favorite farming in Hokkaido (Red Lamps Street), since

Well, thing I did first - I bought better CM dropper and thruster. And then I continued my try to break trough Nomad Blocade.
And then, it happened. Heavily damaged Titan, with only 2 guns left, flaming hole that once was wing and yelling pilot was warped into Sovetskaya system from Gladius.
I landed on Gorlowka Carrier for emergency repair, then headed to Coalition HQ.
    *Fan-fiction begins here*
Ajay accurately landed his ship on a pad inside Coalition HQ. Home... He finally arrived home. That was some months ago his Lagg left the same pad. Some months... not so long, but not so short.
He was met by Coalition Officer Igor, who sent him to this assignment.
-Ajay, why did you returned? Month report could be sent by a link systems in your ship! Oh... What did you did with your Lagg?
-I lost it. And I was saved by a Zoners and delivered to Manhattan, a central planet. Now I fly this brick with guns.
-So... What about your "cultural research"? How do they live?
-Actually, they are still the same

    Next day.
I bought Shield Upgrade, and after some fighting bought Armor Upgrade. When I got 10 000 000 bucks, I decided to fly to Altair and get my sweet dream... And failed. In Styx, i was heavily damaged by Nomad Bombers and Nomad Interceptors. But i managed to flee trough them, counting down stabiliser and right wing. In Gladius i was encountered by Nomad Fighters (which are not so tough, they refilled my bots/bats).
In Mandar, I was finished by Interceptor and two bombers, because I flown really far from Dark Reign Ion Cannon and from Motherland patrols. Actually, next thing to remember:
Nomad Interceptor are really tough. They are really hard to kill, and their shield is protecting from accident hits, and it regenerates REALLY FAST. So they are counted as indestructible.
Nomad Bombers - pop my shield with ease and ALMOST NEVER DROP LOOT.
Nomad fighters - Easily killed and hardly can hit even a overarmored Titan. I managed whole packs with ease and without using bots/bats, exept

Well... I will begin this from a third day.
I already got a Titan with: 2 Disinfectors, 2 JADEs and 2 THOR'S HAMMERs. And some small equip. And I was on BPA Newgate.
When I arrived on a server, I got a "distress call" from R@f1. He needed me to take some prisoner pods and give them to another his char. But when i arrived to him, server began to derp. I got some CTDs, but finnaly i helped him, travelling with Pinkie to Texas. He allowed me to keep some pods... I am thankful for it.
After this help I headed to Shikoku, to fight with Dragons and GC. Dragons usually drop Lieutnant pods, which cost 100 000 bucks.
But then I got another idea: fly to Hokkaido and farm some GC. I was sorry that I had no BlackJack, but at least I could get some hookers :)
Actually, since that time I began to call Ainu Depot "Red Lamps Street" :)
But those fe... Sorry, bad gals, began just to flee instead of fighting. Dragons were more honourable: they fought... and got into my cargo bay. Well, of course, I had
