Refer to pictures attached ... the info indicates that your char is good in mapping... but when you see the map itself, it is not reflecting what the info is saying...

I think this happened to one my old char too. Try what happen if you revisit system (if it reveal bases there).

... however, is it a bug or it always happen to old char if not being used for long time...?
Imo it is related only to separate chars, which were build in earlier mod versions. I think that I just simple re-entered systems and problem solved. Next to this is possible get the bases "info" from guests in bars on bases. I think (not sure) that these are counted as "explored", but they do not have appropriate system revealed in nav-map.

it might be that if the char is VERY old some visit entries were removed once.
However, it should write them back if you jump through the gates/holes.

it's been a minute since i've logged in. Should i jump in and try to recreate the issue? It'll take a while with updates n all.

I can not really explain why it wouldnt work.
The visit entries could be missing due to a cleanup I did a few years ago (around when CF2.0 was released). But now it should write new visit entries to the chars.The only other explanation I could give is that the path files got damaged somehow. But that is very unlikely. Even if... at least the vanilla systems should show a connection.
