In previous times in the past when logging on to Swat-Portal to check the forums etc, I would as normal put in password which was kept remembered.
How ever now since my Web Brower is now updated to current version. It now says in log in boxes this connection is unsecure, enter at own risk.

If you're gonna troll someone, at least have some more class. Why is the spirit angry? What did we do? How do we ease the angry machine spirit? How does one perform a virtual seance?
What browser are you using, Kermit? Chrome likes false positives

firefox, chrome, opera, etc. flag unencrypted http connects as insecure since around mid this year.
Since we actually dont store important user data could be matter of any security violation that actually should not be a big problem.
However, if you want to use a secure, encrytped connection to the portal you just need to use SWAT Portal
The https enables the SSL encryption of your username and password.I added SSL months ago but forgot to announce it.
I might test if I can simply use the https as default url (needs to be tested if it runs without problems) and then replace all links. But thats something I will do when I have alot of time at hand. -
thanks for reply op, yes i just updated to firefox 57.1 and i have https// as default set. most sites i go to have the green padlock on but when i log on to swat portal a grey with red line the padlock. i tried your link too and still only the grey padlock comes up, so it seems something is not right.
after posting this did a bit of fiddling around and partially solved the problem with the https// appearing in the url. now when logging on the insecure warning has gone.
the padlock now says some parts are insecure like pictures. -
