But others in the galaxy, including their new allies, do not view protomatter as a safe, clean energy source with limitless potential for creation. Elsewhere, it has been used as a weapon of mass destruction. Someone is calling down the terrible, destructive power of Protomatter on the frontier in the Alpha Quadrant, not far from Lukari space. What is unclear is who - or why. The recently completed Lukari flagship, under the command of Captain Kuumaarke, is prepared to travel to the edge of known space. Together with members of the Alliance, including the legendary Klingon general Rodek, the Lukari are determined to unravel this mystery. “Of Signs and Portents” will take players on a dangerous journey of discovery.
