First Encounters With The Swat Portal

Hi Folks
Thought I would do an intro thread since I am new here. Been a space sim fan for, well.. ..*cough* 30 odd years and played just about them all at one time or another, from Hardwar, the "X" games, Starlancer & Freelancer, the I War games, the Freespace games, Tarr Chronicles & Dark Horizon, the Elite series of course and more. Its great to see this game genre back in the spotlight again after all these years. Presently playing Elite Dangerous, waiting (as everyone else is) to see what happens next with Star Citizen and Limit Theory (backed ED, SC & LT during their kickstarters) and about to embark into Crossfire. Single player to start with to learn the ropes since its been a while since I last fired up Freelancer. Last FL mod I played was Gibbon's Genesis, loved that.

Anyways that's all, rant over, Fly safe out there folks!

Ok. Had a quick fly about in New York today in MP. But on jumping to the Custodian System my connection was lost. Been trying to connect again. Must be my rubbish ISP
