Hive Race

as already mentioned in superduperspecialmegaeventweekend EM Schedule-post (sorry, not accessable for everyone ) i had the idea for the event Hive Race.

here are the rules:
- only fighter ships are allowed, except Dragonfly
- all participants dock at planet Issos
- when EM gives the "GO!" the race starts, means all players go to Hive system, pass it and return to Arena
- the first one docking at planet Issos is the winner

prizes:
winner: 30 mill
2nd: 25 mill
3rd: 20 mill
...
participation: 5 mill

so, easy rules, hard race i guess. but surely FUN

It looks easy till moment when you bump for a 1st time (be sure have rescue team ready for lost participants inside ). Nice event idea!

winner in 5:36 min: Gunboat - congrats
2nd place in 5:44 min: SA_Seeker_FORLON
3rd place in 7:12 min: (Fallen)Mercenaro-S³
4th place in 7:27 min: APE.Stronginthearm
5th place in 16:17 min: Core|Iris
And Inducted_Neptune was the rescue-team

what we've learned from this:
1. it was FUN
2. next time with more rounds (maybe 3 or 4)

Tribbs was sadly lost in the Hive, disappeared and never seen again... Until later ofc

Twas a really fun event, and I am planning to do more later on, but until then Safe flying!

Participants were required to complete 3 laps with landing on Planet Issos each time before going to the Hive again.
