Hi, I am trying to run Freelancer in Windows 7 x64, with no success yet. I tried Windows XP Mode on Windows Virtual PC but without any success. Microsoft do not recommend its use for Games because it has very simple graphics drivers. Sorry for the negative post, but thought it best to advise you all of my experience.

i used to run it for years under win7 x64

same here, there is no problem with win7 x64. Only third party drivers and software could cause problems but not the game itself.
