Seven times the Crossfire Mod has reached the Top 100 of the Mod of the Year awards meanwhile. Will we see this going to happen and 8th time in 2014?
This is a very special year for Crossfire and us as developers.
Ten years ago the very first of this mod has been released as an addon to the Freelancer game.
Ten major mod versions have been developed since that day and ten story chapters have been released, creating an exciting storyline in an awesome game universe.
With Crossfire 2.0 we have done what nobody else has done before. We have created a true sequel to Freelancer.
With Crossfire 2.0 the full storyline finally is told, we have come to an end.
But every end is the beginning of something new.
Crossfire 2.0 allows this community to develop and add new side stories to the mod. As a community project, new exciting content will be added to the mod, developed bye the players... for the players.
The future of this mod has just begun.
