Resolved an issue which would occasionally cause a crash during cutscenes.
Resolved an issue which was causing Bridge Officers to continue to perform CPR after the captain was already revived.
Pet cats have updated run animations.

    Missions:

Updated the Battle of Korfez PvE Queue.

Added a failure reward for completing the gate check but then failing at any other part of the queue.
Resolved an issue where a required ship to defeat became stuck in an asteroid and could not be destroyed.

Updated rewards for Fleet Actions queues to the following:

    720 Dilithium for completion
    Normal Crafting Pack
    20 Fleet Marks
Skill Points and Expertise Points have been slightly increased in scale.
This applies to the following queues:

    Gorn Minefield
    Starbase 24
    Klingon Scout Force
    Breaking the Planet
    The Big Dig

When speaking with Tuvok in Fluid Dynamics the window background now shows him on the Voyager bridge.
Updated Stranded in Space so an Orion Dreadnought spawns if a five-player team enters the mission.

Previously it was a Nausicaan Dreadnought.

The Doctor will now heal more actively and effectively in All That Glitters.
    Updated What’s Left Behind:

This mission can now be played in a team.

This was previously a single player episode.

The Doctor no longer congratulates the player for finding a breathing apparatus if the player did not find one.

Resolved an issue that could sometimes cause players to become stuck in the Federation tutorial in the Vega colony while reconfiguring the last satellite before a Borg cube arrives.
    Delta Quadrant Patrol Systems:

Teammates can now play together on the same Delta Quadrant patrol maps.

Previously, players could only team together if they had the Delta Quadrant mission associated with the patrol system.

Resolved an issue where the wrong name of the bridge officer contact in the Trakia patrol system would be displayed.

The Federation, Klingon, and Romulan tutorials now award the proper kits and module packs when the tutorial is skipped.
Resolved an issue where players could sometimes get stuck on Starfleet Academy while on the mission “Welcome to Earth Spacedock”.

Starfleet Academy can no longer be accessed without completing the mission “Welcome to Earth Spacedock” unless skipping the tutorial is chosen.
For players currently stuck on Starfleet Academy, players will have the option to beam to ESD if on the mission “Welcome to Earth Spacedock”.

The Federation tutorial missions can no longer be shared.

These were not intended to be shared.

    Systems:

Skill Points earned via completing missions and defeating NPCs have been updated.

The Skill Points earned from playing episodes with captains at levels 50 to 60 have been increased.

Previously, if a player completed a mission at level 49 and was rewarded 3,000 Skill Points, that same mission completed at level 51 would reward much lower than 3,000 Skill Points.
This update makes it so the player, in this scenario stated above, would earn at least 3,000 Skill Points at level 51 instead of the much lower number.

The amount of Skill Points earned via defeating enemy NPCs will now scale upwards with a player’s level.
A captain’s level will not be altered upon logging in.

For example, if a captain is level 53 that captain will still be level 53 upon logging in to Holodeck.

For more information, please visit this post about the updates to earning Skill Points at: http://sto-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=1302021

This includes Romulan Plasma, Corrosive Plasma, and any others that may have previously been absent.

Previously, the fighters were scaling at too high of a rate of damage, shields, and hit points.

Existing Zefram Cochrane shotguns will be updated to reflect these changes.

    Atrox Carrier
    Fleet Atrox Carrier

This material is titled Upgrade in the ship tailor.
This material will be unlocked on all current and future upgraded ships.
The material is immediately available for all Tier 6 ships.
This material is not available on a Tier 5 Upgradable ship until the ship is upgraded.

    Scryer Intel Science Vessel:

This starship now has a secondary deflector slot.

Players who own the Scryer may purchase a generic secondary deflector from the Dilithium Store in the special tab.

This starship now has the Sensor Analysis ability.

Equipped upgradable items can no longer be dragged and dropped into the Upgrade item slot.

These must be placed into the inventory before they can be slotted to upgrade.

Added an icon and tooltip message on the Ship Status window while in space that states the ship name cannot be changed.

This is a text change only.
Updating the name of the ship currently in use while in space is not intended.

Resolved an issue which prevented some colors from being used in the Fleet Emblem editor.
The Show All check box in “Skill-Based Stats: Space” in the Status window now functions.
Resolved an issue which would occasionally not display the tooltip when the mouse was placed over a Bridge Officer slotted power in space.
Resolved an issue which was causing a [NULL MESSAGE] to appear in the tailor above a saved costume set for Reman Captains.

One set of the powers are invalid.

An issue is present near the ship vendor on ESD where it appears a ceiling covers the top of the screen when standing near Malcolm Sissel.

This does not block anything and is an art issue.

Gold and Ultra Rare Duty Officers do not correctly improve Success and Critical Success chances on assignments.
Gamepads are not functioning as they previously did before the launch of Delta Rising.

fixing as in = we repaired it
    or
fixing as in = we screwed it up again
    or
fixing as in = we simply removed everything from the game?

Only dead fish swim with the stream.
Don't discuss with idiots. They only drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience there.

    This is ten percent luck,
    Twenty percent skill,
Fifteen percent concentrated power of will,
    Five percent pleasure,
    Fifty percent pain,
And a hundred percent reason to remember the name!

  • wow
have read the full patch now and it looks like the devs finally have read the forum
pretty cool stuff and many many fixes

I am going with screwed it up.

  • They indeed seem to take more notice of what is been said on the forums. Or they did the maths and noticed a dip in profits since the release of DR.

  • well, the number of players clearly dropped meanwhile

  • True. It's a challenge these days to find a pug to do some stf's. And once you get into an advanced stf, most the time the players are well below 10k dps and the whole lot fails.

  • most of our fleet members are below 10kdps

  • I was so wrong about this patch.
Most of these so called fixes dont even seem to exist.... e.g. Odyssey uniform still clips with the rank pips... romulan embassy boffs still can not be edited... the new starship material just looks like a darker version of the type 2 material and looks uggly as hell.

Next to that did we receive another hidden XP nerf.
Prior the patch we were able to get +4000 xp running argala patrols and required 54.000xp for one level up.
After the patch we get +8000 xp for one patrol and need about 160.000 xp for one level up.
So while the rewards doubled the requirements tripled.
Thats a 50% xp nerf again and the devs once more have been lying to the players about that.

  • situation on other mission is far worse
1-2k xp rewards now (on elite missions)

mission replays reward 2000xp so if you replay ALL STO episodes you have the chance to get ONE level-up.
