Dom Kavash Hunt

Big thanks to maishaf (Original-...) and (IOC)Fencer for helping me yesterday

Some explanations: we started small excursion from BS Deliverance and my intention was to hunt Dom Kavash gunboats in Mandar. Advantage of Mandar are the Nomads, that drop batts n bots (but unfortunately no weapons ). But we found out, that amount of DK gunboats is too little. We got only 1 DK Annihilator in 25 min, so we decided to take another system.

Choice was Hieron or Vorkuta. Our IOC-member had already nice experiences with both systems (well u know, IOC has always nice ideas and is active in expeditions) so we decided to go to Vorkuta.

Good choice in my opinion. To dock at Donezk station is a little bit risky because of DK-spawning nearby. However Coalition HQ with its
ion cannon perimeter is save place for docking. We flew then in different asteroid fields nearby and found lots of DK gunboats. Well, i was tired and very slow yesterday and didnt manage to make DK very angry with me, they are still white for me But my friends made a good job and in 30 min Fencer got 4 guns in his cargo bay. We stood a little bit longer, made some nice side seeing, found some magical smoking fires, and got one more DKA

Conclusions: well, u see most conclusions in event announcement above, but one important thing was missing: DK hunt is not very hard. In my opinion Ancient hunt is much harder, so we can invite newbies too. Side effect of it: they will have easy going to Coalition space since mostly they wont go allone

what concerns prizes, yes, u are right. they make me troubles too. but think about the fluctuating drop rate. above u can see, that sometimes players get a lot of DKA-s, and sometimes very less. that's why i was thinking about prizes that are a little bit independent of the count of DKA-s. like 40 mill for each in winning group, of course with most guns. and 20 mill for each in other group, even if they got no DKA at all. if there is a 3rd group then prizes could be: 40, 30, 20 mill.
