  • For start:

    Basic time saver (ingame):


    eg. conecting two power ((1 tray)(1 row) and (2 tray)(3 row)) on middle mouse button:
    3rd Tray = A1 A2 A3 A4 A5 A6 A7 A8 A9 A0
    2nd Tray = C1 C2 C3 C4 C5 C6 C7 C8 C9 C0
    1st Tray = 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0


    type on chat:
    /bind key+middleclick trayexecbytraywithbackup 1 O O 1 2
    or
    /bind key+midlleclick +trayexecbytray 0 0 $$ +tryexecbytray 1 2
    When u press middle mouse button game execute first red power then green power (from right to left).


    Chain 3 or 4 powers (logic):
    eg for Z key:
    /bind key+z trayexecbytraywithbackup 1 O O 1 2 $$ +trayexecbytray 0 9
    Game activate: blue+(0.5 sec pause or cooldown for no WIN key) red+green => spam z key or press z+(0.5 sec)z xD


    For chain 4 powers:
    /bind key+1 trayexecbytraywithbackup 1 O O 1 2 $$ trayexecbytraywithbackup 1 0 9 2 0
    yellow+blue+red+green on key 1

    i have some problems with 3 or 4 chain powers on one key ingame =>probably my laptop laging.

    Binding entire row on one key (press P in th game an just drag powers in row). Open notepad and copy/paste :

    F9, F10, F11, F12 power steup attack/deffense/speed/aux (weapon/shield/engine/aux)(player can adjust power setup manually and press save icon ingame):
    Prsonaly i bind on key X attack power setup 95/50/30/25 and key Z(y) for defense/run power setup 25/70/65/30:

    Save bind *.txt file (adoBa.txt for me) and put on STO game folder. In game just write:

    Also player can add some new bind keys on this keybind file in game (post 1) and save with /bind_save_file *.txt


    How to use:
    Firts test, test an test and just watch when hit space => buff activation in row 9.
    Pls dont spam to hard SPACE xD

  • Rofl Bond, I hit only "space+few mause buttons" for buffs . Also recomended to open new vertical ability tray (just to watch "space" cooldown buffs) and close boffs tray and weapon tray. Target team-mate is very practical for fast buff/debuff/heal tactical-dps players. Now i cant imagine playing STO without these godies xD.

  • time to share a small but interesting pair of keybind files with you.


    save both files to the Live subdirectory of your STO installation.


    then type

    Code
    1. /bind_load_file ping.txt


    into chat and hit enter.


    now your Substract (-) key toggles display of network infos (like ping).


    As with all keybinds in STO the game handles 3 different sets of controls (space / ground rpg / ground shooter), so if you want this functionality in all 3 environments you have to assign the bind in all 3 of them.
