  • Hello guys and girls,

Getting a bit fed up, but could well be my noobish behaviour with this game. Win 7 ultimate 64bit PC. 4gig mem. 3,2 dualcore, 1gig graphics card.

Did search for three days now tried the different configurations ( such as, running as admin, install in different location, remove attributes, of course everytime cleaning all the files, using ccleamer, advanced system care and even did go in regedit and clean there. ) Get all kind of different errors when try to activate or run the game.

it started with could not find freelancer ini..........of could not find freelancer....etc, etc. probably i did do something wrong, but after three days of trying out all the options given i am lost. Any advise or help??

  • first install FL
    then FLMM 3.1
then CF mod (no its not yet installed - its just installed for FLMM)
then open FLMM and choose Crossfire Client 1.9
    click activate
wait - no its not hanging or crashing - it lasts.

Make sure as you already told you run as admin and all the files can be accessed (remove the read-only flag from all files from the FL installation).
    Actually that should work.
