On patrol through the Liberty systems and into Custodian space, I encountered little criminal activity aside from the occasional traffic ticket. When I decided to dock at Nuetro I encountered a pirate in police space, so I chose to engage. During the arrest I noticed new gun pivots which allowed his weapons to fire from a complete 90 degree angle above his fighter and tracking my vessel almost perfectly. Luckly I was able to get further behind this fighter and finish him off. However this new tracking technology should be of concern to law enforcement as this can place us in a vulnerable position during traffic stops.
All officers should exercise extreme caution during patrol. I have dispatched our research & development team to mimic this technology and tracking abilities.
