Smuggler Hunt

OK, I'll be hosting the Smuggler Hunt on wednesday the 23rd of September, with the help of some other EMs since this will be my first time (no pun intended, hehe).

Tonight - October 7th - SmugHunt!

We hunt for smug people, then diss them in front of everyone in system chat.

The hunt is at 20:30 servertime, meet in Arena!

Due to lack of participants, tonight's Hunt is cancelled.

General rules and rewards:

· Each player gets 5 million credits as participation reward;
· Smuggler gains additional 10 million credits per tagged checkpoint, and 15 million credits if he reaches the target;
· Smuggler gains additional 10 million credits if he kills an attacking hunter;
· Hunter gains 15 million per killed smuggler;

· Player that is killed by another player or an NPC can't return to the hunt;

· New York system and clan systems (Tohoku, Alaska, Purian Lake, Daedalus, Sovetskaya, Casius, Hiruga, Custodian) are excluded from the hunts and will not be used unless otherwise specified (exception is Nephele, which is mostly open); players in violation of this rule will be disqualified;

· No nanobots, no shield batteries, no docking for repairs and reloads;

· If a smuggler or hunter is bothered by a player who is not participating in the event, (s)he should report that to the Event Manager or a ServerPolice member (if there is one online).

Rules for smugglers:

· smuggler must NOT fly capital ships (they have issues with cruise distruptors);
· all checkpoints must be tagged by the smuggler before (s)he reaches the target system;
· smuggler must carry at least one BMG in cargo hold, to ensure NPC participation;
· smugglers are not obligated to respect the general hunt areas - they are free to roam the Universe.

Rules for hunters:

· Hunters are informed of the target system and base, and can be given additional info (general hunt area);
· NO CAMPING - unless you're flying a capital ship and this is your specific task (eg. guarding a wormhole/jumpgate);
· Hunters cannot enter the target system itself until the smuggler is at least 1 system away from the the target system;
· Hunters work as a team, so no killing and PvPs between hunters!

Also, since Anca is absent, we can do the Top Gun right after the Hunt, if you're interested.

A bit of revision: IF Ancalagon is absent and agrees, and people want a TopGun, I'll host.

Ladies, since the quorum necessary to maintain a functional event can't be assembled for weeks now, I'm distributing the 250 million credits left on my EM char to random newbies that might require assistence.

Or I'll spend it on whiskey, cardamine and Maltese women. I'll decide later on that one...
